About Pre-Apprenticeship Selection Options

Pre-apprenticeship/Foundation is used to organize programs offered by post-secondary institutions that provide education and training that provides access to either full apprenticeship training or the workplace.

Pre-apprenticeship programs do not guarantee access to a formal apprenticeship, but they can provide you with the skills necessary for workplace-based training and/or credit towards the education credit portion of the apprenticeship.

Pre-apprenticeship/Foundation is best used to explore programs that will help you qualify for apprenticeship training or gain job-ready skills.
